Paying for one's vaccination


Since it was raised last Tuesday at the Lent Group meeting on Zoom, “Caring for Creation” that it was possible to pay for one’s own Covid-19 vaccination, and thereby financing a dose for someone else in another country, it has been mentioned several times to me.

Nick Viney has sent through the information as to how we do this:

The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine has organized a campaign to donate the cost of our individual Covid 19 vaccine in order that poorer nations can access PPE and basic essentials like hand gel in preparation for their forthcoming vaccine programmes. 

LSTM suggest a donation £25 as this is the manufacturing cost of our free NHS vaccine, but any donation will be gratefully received. Here is the LSTM link:
