Duchess of Gloucester receives posy from St Mark's children

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron of the Children's Society receives a posy from children from St Mark's Primary School, Herston, Swanage.

On 6th December at Salisbury Cathedral the nave was full of children for a 50th Anniversary Christingle Service. That is, fifty years since the Children's Society first began to promote the Christingle Service in the Church of England. Twenty-five children from St Mark's Primary School attended the service with parents and staff and two of the children were chosen to present the guest of honour, the Duchess of Gloucester, with a posy on behalf of everyone there. a great honour for the school and the children.
