St Mary's Swanage hosted the Quarterly Meeting of the East Dorset Branch of the Salisbury Diocesan Guild of Bellringers.  After ringing for two hours, the assembled members took part in a service in St Mary's Church, which was followed by tea and a business meeting, presided over by Hilary Child, Vice-Chair of the East Dorset Branch.   The results of the striking competition, held early in the day in Worth Matravers, were announced and the trophies presented by Judith Williams, President of the Salisbury Diocesan Guild of Bellringers.  Swanage came a commendable third in the main competition!  Well done to our ringers!
