Food Bank Update - 21st April

Having just spoken to a representative of the Swanage Food Bank, I have the current situation of need to give you: Stocks are "moderately good" overall and "good" for cereals, pasta, sweet biscuits, soup and baked beans, so no need for those at present.

The following would be particularly welcome at the moment: tinned meats, rice, savoury biscuits and snacks and tins of custard and rice pudding (or similar). Chemist items, whilst, again, stocks are "moderately good", have generally a long shelf-life and are always required.

Pick up points are at the Co-op, Budgeons, Costcutter, Arkwrights, and, during times when the food bank is open (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays around lunchtime) there is a blue bin outside the lower door of the Salvation Army centre.
