Sunday 2nd January 2022 - celebrated as the Epiphany
Traditionally, the Epiphany evening service is celebrated as a service for members of the four churches to get together to re-commit themselves to one another for the year that lies ahead. It has usually been held in St Mark's, but in January 2021, and again in January 2022 its venue is St Mary's. The service, with its strong theme of the Epiphany and the showing forth of the light of Christ to the world, is to take place as normally, replacing choral evensong at 6.30 p.m. Under the current Covid-19 infection rate, the congregation will not be as in past years, but we hope that all four churches will be represented and we can celebrate our unity in mission and ministry.
