Team Vicar - Swanage and Studland
The Team Ministry of Swanage and Studland, whilst largely traditional and reflective of its lovely seaside location on the Purbeck Coast, is contemplating new thoughts of mission and ministry and seeks a team vicar to lead and help guide its energy through the exciting challenges ahead.
We are looking for a Team Vicar who:
- Will be based at All Saints’ Church, a lively, welcoming Evangelical congregation affiliated to the New Wine Network.
- Is ready to be led prayerfully by the Holy Spirit in creative new ideas whilst building on successful initiatives such as cafe-style church.
- Will be pastorally responsibility for the village church of Studland as a faithful and much-loved resident (retired) priest gradually eases out of that role.
- Is a team player, willing to collaborate with colleagues in ministry and mission across a Team that embraces a broad spectrum of the Church of England.
We offer:
- Active support from lay ministers and retired clergy in the Team
- Part-time administrative support from the Benefice Secretary.
- An attractive and spacious four-bedroomed vicarage just a short walk from the beach.
