Wave May Newsletter

 May 2019

Dear Everyone,

Well, Spring is quickly turning into Summer and the countryside is lush and green; a beautiful time of year.

The Wave, too, continues to flourish as the team work hard in all it does, bringing God’s word to our young people through the example and love of Jesus.

It has not been the easiest of years, for many of us due to personal circumstances, and also without interns to share the load. The Wave, however, continues with its own momentum, giving, supporting, and still growing. We are fortunate indeed to have Rob, Rich, Berno, Hannah and Bethany using their skills and enthusiasm, and we thank them.

Wave Youth groups continue to attract regular numbers, and the schools’ involvement and detatched work are providing contact with youngsters in their own environments.  Following the success of last year, it is hoped that there will be a Youth Camp this summer too….plans are afoot!!

Wave Kids news is that Notelets now has just one session, but that the same amount of toddlers are attending – with Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers of course, and Space Academy and Energize are attracting regular numbers. Both Rob and Bethany value the weekly time spent going into St Mark’s and St Mary’s as they are able to build up relationships with the pupils and staffs.
