"Come and Sing" Choral Evensong is back in St Mary's now.  Once a month the church choir is joined by singers from far and wide, and the numbers are creeping up again after the absence of the enhanced choir for some months in the height of the pandemic restrictions.  With care we are now able to bring people together to sing once more, and produce a Choral Evensong that is enhanced by our larger numbers.

On 21st November the choir began with an introit ("Above all Praise" by Mendelssohn).  We sang the 'Smith' responses, Psalm 72: 1-7 and the Canticles were to Bairstow in E Flat.  The Goodall setting of Psalm 23 was the Anthem, and the whole congregation joined heartily in two hymns.

"Come and Sing" will be missing in December, but back on 16th January 2022.
