Volunteers desperately needed!
This was a message from the wonderful Kim Gallagher of Swanage & Purbeck Development Trust at a meeting a couple of days ago.
Apparently since the end of the last Lockdown, the number of volunteers available for many of the excellent and much needed projects in Swanage has fallen significantly.
For several years Kim has been running a Volunteer Bureau in Swanage Library from 10.30 to 12.30 on Friday mornings in term time. Recently very few people have come in.
Next Friday 30 September, in an effort to reach new people, Kim and others are organising a Volunteer Village at the Friday Market in Victoria Avenue Car Park. They will be there from 8.30am till 11 and there will be stalls of individual projects who need more helpers.
You will be very welcome!
